How did you hear about the program? Why did you apply?

An email was sent out to undergraduate students in my department. I was considering graduate school and wanted a better idea of it.

What were some interesting/fun things you did at ACCESS and/or people you met?
I enjoyed the walk back from the dinner with the graduate students and also the duck tours.

Favorite part of the weekend and why?
My favorite part of the weekend was the reception with the professors.

Do you think you benefitted from the program – did it help you in any way?
Why or why not?

The program helped me get a better feel of graduate school and the relationship between graduate students and professors

Prior to attending ACCESS, did you have plans to apply for graduate school? How did ACCESS impact your decision?
I had plans to apply, but no real direction or connections. Dr. Prather helped me by sending me the names of professors in the field.

Are you planning on applying to graduate school now? If so, where?
I will be starting at Vanderbilt University in the fall.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
Possibly looking for either a post-graduate position or trying to find a professorial position.
