Ali Landry

Research Interests:
My undergraduate research was in polymer nanofibers, but I plan to do research in energy and catalysis while in graduate school.

Interests outside of school/research:
I love to go backpacking, rock climbing, biking, and almost any other kind of outdoor activity. Cooking and trying new foods are other passions of mine.

What were some interesting/fun things you did at ACCESS and/or people you met?
Besides learning about what it’s like to be a graduate student, the program definitely treated us to some of Boston’s best restaurants and food options. It was a delicious weekend!

Prior to attending ACCESS, did you have plans to apply for graduate school?
How did ACCESS impact your decision?

ACCESS helped me make a more informed decision about whether or not the graduate school was right for me.

Are you planning on applying to attend graduate school now? If so, where?
I plan on attending graduate school at UC-Berkeley.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
In five years I see myself nearing completion of my Ph.D. in chemical engineering. Ten years is too far for me to guess.
