How did you hear about the ACCESS program? Why did you apply?
I found out about the ACCESS program through the LS-LAMP program at my school.

What were some interesting/fun things you did at ACCESS and/or people you met?
The duck tour and two minute drills were really interesting and educational.

What was your favorite part of the weekend and why?
I enjoyed the entire weekend because it fulfilled all of my expectations.

What benefits did you reap from the program?
A major benefit from the program was being able to see professionals in my prospective field of study. Dr. Essigmann was really helpful by providing information about textbooks that provide an in-depth analysis of biochemistry.

Prior to attending ACCESS, did you have plans to apply for Graduate School? How did ACCESS impact your decision?
Prior to attending ACCESS I had plans to attend Graduate School. Attending ACCESS helped me to gain a wealth of knowledge on what to look for in a graduate school, how to get through the application process, and it provided a glimpse of what to expect in graduate school.

Are you planning on applying to/attending Graduate School now? If so, where?
I plan to attend the University of Wisconsin at Madison for doctoral studies.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
In 5 years I see myself graduating with my doctorate in Biochemistry. In 10 years I see myself as professor at a university mentoring students through scientific research.
