What were some interesting/fun things you did at ACCESS and/or people you met?
Meeting Dr. Langer was incredible and an honor. Also, tours of the facilities and learning about graduate school, in general, were very interesting.

Favorite part of the weekend and why?
I really enjoyed the amazing facilities, the tours and activities around Cambridge and Boston. I had never been to Massachusetts so it was very fun!

Do you think you benefitted from the program – did it help you in any way?
Why or why not?

Definitely! It helped show me what graduate school was like and all of the reasons to attend.

Prior to attending ACCESS, did you have plans to apply for graduate school? How did ACCESS impact your decision?
I was very unsure and probably not going to attend graduate school. After attending ACCESS, I was heavily in favor of attending graduate school.

Are you planning on applying to graduate school now? If so, where?
Right now, I currently attend UC Davis. I’m in the Chemical Engineering PhD program.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
In 5 years I will hopefully be done with graduate school and possibly seeking a post-doctoral position. In 10 years I will possibly hold a faculty position at a university.

Anything else you want to share?
ACCESS was a really fun, exciting worthwhile program.
